Super Dirt™ is not bagged topsoil, fill dirt, or the generic compost blend from the big box store or the yard down the road — the same pile every other landscaper buys. It is our own custom formula, built to outperform anything off the shelf. It builds structure under the surface, and it is exactly what plants, trees and flowers want to thrive — naturally, organically.
It runs on one idea — if the biology below ground is healthy, everything above ground performs better.
Five locally sourced components, blended for Gulf Coast ground. Compost and humus bring organic matter and the carbon soil life feeds on. Screened topsoil gives it body. Washed sand and rice hull open the profile so water and oxygen move through it — instead of the dense, airless clay Houston is famous for.
Then biology goes to work. Bacteria and fungi turn organic material into food a plant can use. Roots grow deeper. Soil holds moisture without staying waterlogged. Nutrients release slowly. Plants establish faster and hold up longer.
We pair it with our all-organic MicroLife® fertility program — feeding the biology, not just the plant.

The Blend
Five Super Dirt™ components.
Sourced locally. Mixed with Texas Best Mulch & Soil. Delivered by the cubic yard.
Mushroom compost.
Rich, dark, and alive. Organic matter for water-holding capacity — and the biology that rides in with it. The microorganisms keep breaking material down and releasing nutrients into the bed, so the soil goes on feeding long after we have driven off.
Organic humus.
The fully broken-down end of organic matter. It holds moisture and nutrients where the roots can reach them, and gives the soil life a place to live.
Screened topsoil.
Screened fine. Body and structure for the bed — and the steady pH that lets a plant actually take up what is sitting around it. Sourced locally — not a construction-site stockpile.
Screened & washed sand.
Sourced and harvested locally, screened and washed clean. It opens Gulf Coast clay so water moves through the bed instead of sitting on it.
Decomposed rice hull.
Light and fibrous. It holds the bed porous so air and water keep reaching the roots instead of packing tight around them — compaction is what quietly kills a bed. The difference between a one-season bed and a ten-year bed.

Common fertilizer sits on top of the dirt. Moisture activates it, and right then it is about 30 percent less effective to every living thing in the bed.
