The Premise
A yard without music is a room with the lights off.
A Bluetooth speaker on the patio table fills one corner and rattles the rest. Turn it up for the far end of the pool and the neighbors hear it too.
Scapes builds sound into the landscape: speakers tucked in the planting around the whole yard, a subwoofer buried in the bed, every one aimed at the people and away from the fence. The music is everywhere. The speakers are nowhere.
We build on AMP Symphony — the same family as the AMP iQ lighting we install — so the light and the sound are designed as one.

The Satellites
Sound in a ring around you.
Eight contoured speakers, each with a 4-inch weather-sealed driver and a 1-inch dome tweeter. Staked in the beds, mounted to a surface, or strapped into a tree, on a 150° pivoting arm that locks where we aim it. Built of UV-resistant polymer for the Houston sun.
The Subwoofer
The bass, underground.
One subwoofer, set in the ground where it sounds best. The low end fills the yard without a box on the patio. Add a second when the space is big enough to want it.
The Amplifier
Streaming, control, and power in one.
A WiiM Wi-Fi streaming amplifier runs the whole system — Spotify, Pandora, iHeartRadio, and the rest, straight from your phone. A Bluetooth remote with Alexa built in handles volume and tracks from the lounge chair. The amplifier lives in a weatherproof enclosure with thermostat-controlled fans — it stays cool through a Houston August.
The TV
Game day outside.
The amplifier takes HDMI ARC, optical, and AUX, so the outdoor TV or projector plays through the whole yard.
The Cable
Buried and forgotten.
Direct-burial cable trenched below the surface to every speaker, with sealed plug connections. Nothing on the lawn, nothing to trip on.

Questions
What people ask first.
Will my neighbors hear it?
Far less than a speaker on the table. Every speaker is aimed in, toward you, and spread around the yard so no single one has to be loud.
Can it take the Houston weather?
The speakers are UV-resistant polymer with weather-sealed drivers, and the cable is rated for direct burial. The amplifier sits in a weatherproof, fan-cooled enclosure, and AMP warranties the system.
What can I play?
Anything on your phone. The amplifier streams over Wi-Fi from Spotify, Pandora, iHeartRadio, and more, and the remote has Alexa built in.
Can the TV play through it?
Yes. The amplifier takes HDMI ARC, optical, and AUX for an outdoor TV or projector.
Can I add more later?
Yes. The system grows to eight speakers and two subwoofers without losing sound quality.
Should I do lighting at the same time?
If you are thinking about both, yes. One walk, one design, one set of trenches. It costs less and the yard is torn up once.
