Root Juice

If the roots can't eat, nothing else matters.

It starts underground

Every landscape starts beneath the surface.

  • Before a flower blooms.
  • Before a tree grows.
  • Before a lawn greens up.

The roots have to eat.

The Scapes Biological Nutrition Program

What it is

A program — not a product.

Root Juice™ is the Scapes biological nutrition program, built to feed the whole landscape from the soil up. Turf, flowers, shrubs, trees, palms, estate grounds — all of it depends on one thing: healthy roots.

The tools inside the system

MicroLife Ultimate · Humates Plus · seaweed extract · amino acids · mycorrhizal fungi · minerals · specialty amendments · custom blends

The fertilizer numbers — 8-4-6, 6-2-4 — are almost secondary. What you're really buying is biology: the microbes and humates that build soil health, season after season.

All-Organic Program The part most programs won't say

All organic. On purpose.

Every feed in the Root Juice™ program is organic. It's built on MicroLife® — a Houston company that has made organic fertilizer for Texas soil since 1988, and the partner we run our program on — plus living microbes, humates, seaweed, and minerals. No synthetic salts. No quick-green shortcuts that burn the biology back out.

  • Safe around kids and pets — the same day it goes down.
  • Safe for pollinators, earthworms, and the water table.
  • Feeds the soil, not just the plant — so it keeps working.
  • A Houston partner — local soil, local roots, local hands.

Build the soil. Feed the roots. Grow the landscape.

More than fertilizer

Most programs feed the plant. We feed the whole ecosystem.

Healthy soil holds billions of living organisms working around the clock — breaking down nutrients, holding water, opening room for roots. When that biology thrives, everything above ground performs better.

  • 01Deeper root systems
  • 02Better drought tolerance
  • 03Improved nutrient efficiency
  • 04Stronger blooms
  • 05Richer color
  • 06Healthier trees
  • 07More resilient landscapes

Because when the roots thrive, the landscape follows.

A Scapes Super Soil Intelligence report — sample property analysis
The Super Line™ · Super Soil Intelligence™

We don't guess. We test.

Super Soil Intelligence™ is the diagnostic arm of the Scapes Super Line™ — the reports that read what's happening below the surface. Conditions, deficiencies, exactly what the ground is short on. Instead of the same fertilizer on every property, we build the recommendation around the real landscape.

Every property is different. The nutrition should be too.

How the read works

From a handful of soil to a plan.

The read isn't a guess or a glance. It's lab science — measured, returned, and translated into the plan for your ground.

  1. 01

    The sample

We pull soil methodically across each distinct area of your property — sun and shade, bed and turf, anywhere the ground changes. Sampled the way a lab needs it.

  2. 02

    The lab

It goes to the Texas A&M AgriLife Soil Testing Laboratory — the accredited state lab that reads what's really there: pH, nutrients, and what the ground is short on.

  3. 03

    The read

We turn that raw lab report into your Super Soil Intelligence™ read — and the exact Root Juice™ blend it calls for. Diagnosis, then prescription.

On a Scapes property— the default

We handle it.

Our crew pulls the samples during a visit, sends them to the lab, and brings back the read. You do nothing but watch the ground get better.

The Root Juice™ year

A cadence, not a one-time fix.

Soil health is built season after season. Here's the rhythm we run across your property — turf, beds, trees, and color — through the Gulf Coast year.

  1. 01

    Spring — Wake

The soil comes back to life.

    • Early-spring humates to wake the soil biology.
    • The full biological feed across lawn, beds, and trees.
  2. 02

    Summer — Sustain

    Hold strong through the heat.

    • Humates again to hold moisture and biology through the heat.
    • A mid-season feed to keep growth steady.
    • A monthly seaweed foliar on shrubs and ornamentals for stress tolerance.
  3. 03

    Fall — Fortify

    Build roots before the rest.

    • A biological feed to deepen roots ahead of dormancy.
    • Brown-patch protection on the lawn as the nights cool.
  4. 04

    Winter — Rest & Read

The quiet season does the planning.

    • The soil rests and the biology settles in.
    • We pull and read Soil Intelligence™ samples to set next year's blend.

Azaleas, roses & acid-lovers

A steady, lower-pH feed on its own quarterly rhythm — plus the same monthly seaweed foliar through the growing season. The plants that want it tart, kept happy.

Flowers & the cutting gardens

A richer cycle for the hungriest beds — a quarterly feed with a frequent bloom foliar. More color, more often.

Built for the Gulf Coast

Houston soil isn't easy. Root Juice™ was built for it.

Heavy clay · compaction · flooding · heat · long growing seasons

We developed Root Juice™ for the real challenges of Gulf Coast ground. The goal was never simply greener grass — it's healthier soil, stronger roots, and landscapes that improve year after year.

The Root Juice™ philosophy

Most people see the leaves.
We pay attention to the roots.

Feed the roots first.Everything else follows.

All-organic biological nutrition for landscapes built to last. — Root Juice™

Let's read your soil — and feed it what it's actually missing.
