The Premise
The night a property announces the season.
Holiday lighting is the one season every property gets photographed by people who do not live there. Carolers, deliveries, neighbors driving home a different way. The lighting either reads as composed, or it reads as effortful.
Scapes designs the lighting against the architecture — warm white LED for the bones of the property, a deeper amber on specimen plantings, a controlled use of color only where the brand of the home calls for it. We install, run, monitor, and remove on a fixed schedule. The client never opens a box.
Storage is at the studio. A property's lighting set is dedicated to the property, in numbered crates, refreshed annually.
The Set
Every line of the house, drawn in light.
One design, five layers. Each is measured, cut, and fit to the property — nothing off a shelf, nothing left dangling.
The Roofline
The silhouette, traced.
C9 and C7 bulbs on commercial socket wire, cut to the exact run of every ridge, gable, and gutter. Clipped, never nailed. Magnetic cord where the trim is metal. The line reads straight from the street because it was measured from the street.
The Trees
Trunk to canopy.
Specimen oaks and palms wrapped branch by branch in LED mini lights — tight on the trunk, open in the crown. Warm white on the bones, a deeper tone on the plants that deserve it.
The Ground
The walk home.
Walkways, bed lines, and hedges lit from the ground up. Stakes set to the path, walkway cascade trees where the entry wants a procession. Cords buried in the mulch and out of the lawn.
The Door
Where the season is greeted.
Pre-lit wreaths from 24 inches to six feet across, garland over the door and down the rail, bows tied by hand. The front door is the one piece every guest touches. It gets the most care.
The Power
Nobody flips a switch.
Every circuit tested before a bulb goes up. Photocell and timer control so the house comes on at dusk and goes dark on schedule. Weatherproof boxes on every connection. Smart control on request. The tangle in the photo is the thing we replace.
The Light
Choose the temperature of the season.
The color of the light decides how the house reads. We will tell you what the architecture asks for — then it is your call.
Full color.
Red, green, blue, the multi-color of every childhood street. Used on purpose, placed with the same discipline as warm white.
Pure & cool white.
A sharper light for modern lines, white stucco, and glass. Reads like frost on a Houston December that will never see any.
Smart color.
Every color, from an app. Warm white for Christmas Eve, a slow change for the party, the team's colors on game day.
We can do anything, and we love playing with seasonal lighting color. But the classic warm white Christmas is my favorite. When I design a warm, classic Christmas for a family, my heart runs as warm as the light.

Permanent Lighting
Installed once. Lit all year.
A permanent track tucked under the roofline, invisible by day. At night it is whatever the calendar calls for — Christmas, Halloween, the Fourth, a birthday, a quiet warm white on an ordinary Tuesday.
No ladder in November. No crates in January. The house is simply ready.
We design the run, install the system, and set up the app on your phone before we leave.
Beyond December
The same crew, every season.
Halloween.
Orange, purple, and the right amount of strange. Up the first week of October, down by the first of November — in time for the Christmas install.
Entrances & storefronts.
Monument signs, neighborhood gates, and storefronts. Commercial wreaths up to six feet across, garland on the columns, lit to be seen from the road.
The door & the mantel.
Wreaths, garland, and bows for the entry, the stair, and the mantel — the same hand that dressed the outside finishes the inside.

We take down your set and package it for an easy install next year — packed in bins, labeled, and stored at your place or ours.
Questions
What people ask first.
Will you damage my roof or gutters?
No. We clip to the shingle, gutter, and ridge — never a nail, never a staple in the roofline. When the lights come down, the house looks exactly like it did before.
Do I have enough power?
We test every outlet and circuit on the walk and design the load around it. Every connection is sealed against weather. You will not be resetting a breaker on Christmas Eve.
What if a bulb goes out?
Call or text. We come back and fix it. That is part of the season, not an extra.
Do I have to turn them on?
No. The lights run on a photocell or timer — on at dusk, off when you choose. Smart control from your phone is available.
Do you work with HOAs?
Yes. We design within the rules, and we light neighborhood entrances and monuments for the HOA itself.
What happens to the lights after the season?
They come down in January and go into numbered crates at the studio, dedicated to your property. Next year the same set goes back up, refreshed.
