The Work

A Legacy Tree is not a line on an invoice. It begins with a conversation and ends with a tree that will outlast everyone in the room.
The Conversation
Who is the tree for, and what should it say? We sit with the family, the trust, or the institution and learn the person before we look at a single tree. The specimen is chosen from the name backward — never from the catalog forward.
The Specimen
A mature tree, hand-selected by an arborist and sized to read on day one. We visit it at the grower, judge it against the site, and hold it for your approval before it is ever moved. Live oak, magnolia, bald cypress, mountain laurel — chosen for the hundred-year view.
The Siting
The placement is the work. We site for the sight-line, the shade, and the way the canopy will read against the architecture at year ten, year fifty. The tree is staked, photographed, and reviewed before it is set in the ground.
The Dedication
Scaled to the moment — a single-family planting or a campus-wide ceremony for a graduating class. We coordinate the approvals, the marker, and the day itself, so the only thing left to do is stand there.
