Controller Service
Let us look at it
from here.
Most controller problems are programming, not hardware — and we can see those without driving out. Grant us access and we read the schedule, find what is wrong, and fix it.
Before Anything Else
Two things have
to be true.
01
It has power.
A light on the face, any light. If the controller is dark, check the outlet and the breaker — garage outlets are often on a GFCI that tripped weeks ago and nobody noticed.
02
It is on wifi.
The app has to reach it. If your app says the controller is offline, the router changed, moved, or got a new password — that has to be fixed at the house before anyone can help remotely.
If either one is false, remote access cannot help. Send the form anyway and say so — that is a visit, and we will schedule one.
How To Let Us In
Four taps in the
Rachio app.
- Open the Rachio appOn the phone that already runs your system.
- Go to Device SettingsPick the controller first if you have more than one.
- Tap Add AccessIt sits near the bottom of that screen. Rachio calls this shared access.
- Type our address and shareEnter it exactly: service@gotscapes.com
We never ask for your password.
Rachio built sharing so you can hand someone access without giving up your account. You stay the owner, you see everything we change, and you can revoke us in the same screen the moment you want to — nothing to ask us for.
If your app does not look like these steps, do not hunt for it. Send the form and we will get on a two-minute video call and do it together.
The Request
Tell us what it
is doing.
What Happens Next
Three steps.
We look.
We open the controller from the studio and read what it has actually been doing — run history, skipped cycles, zone by zone.
We tell you.
What is wrong, in plain words, and whether it is something we can fix from here or something in the ground.
We fix or we come.
Programming, scheduling and zone logic we correct remotely, often the same day. A broken head or a cut wire gets a visit.
