A patio is a room. If it cannot be used at dusk, it does not count. Scapes mosquito control targets the harborage — the shaded foliage where the population breeds — not the sky.
The Premise
The patio at dusk.
Outdoor living is built around the four hours after sunset. If the population of the property at dusk includes mosquitoes, the entire investment in lighting, seating, and planting is mothballed for the season.
We target the underside of foliage in the shaded perimeter of the property — where the population rests during the day — with a synthetic pyrethroid barrier treatment that knocks down resting adults and breaks the breeding cycle. The treatment is not sprayed into the sky, into the flower beds in bloom, or in the path of pollinator activity.
We pair the barrier with In2Care stations and standing-water audits for properties with water features. Result: the patio is usable, the property is balanced, and the bee yard does not pay.
An honest word on organic. Everywhere else we feed, we are all-organic — built on Houston's MicroLife®. Mosquitoes are the one place we are not. Organic options exist — garlic, essential-oil, and BTI-based treatments — and we will run them if you ask. But they are shorter-lived and need more frequent visits, and on the Gulf Coast that often means more product, not less. For knockdown that actually holds the patio at dusk, the targeted synthetic barrier is our first choice. We would rather tell you that than sell you a claim.
