The Basics · Garden Prep
A spring garden,
prepped.
For the properties that grow food: tomato, pepper, herb, melon, fall greens. Beds turned and amended, drip lines tested, transplants staged. The garden is ready the day you walk into it.

A vegetable garden is real work.
A productive Texas vegetable garden is a long calendar — tomato transplants going in mid-March, peppers in late March, basil in April, the fall planting in late August. Most home gardens are amended once at install and slowly mined out from there.
Scapes runs the garden as a maintenance line: raised beds turned and amended every season, drip lines flushed and tested, transplants pulled from the Rain Lady Nursery, mulch top-dressed, support installed. The owner walks into a prepped garden the day it is ready to plant.
We will plant for you, or hand off prepped. Most clients want the latter. Tomatoes taste better when you put them in the ground yourself.
