Drainage is the civil engineering layer of every property. Done early, it is invisible. Done late, it is foundational repair. Scapes designs and builds the system the planting and stone depend on.
The Premise
Water is a system.
Every drop that lands on the property has to leave the property — or it sits on the slab, in the bed, in the patio joint, against the foundation. On the Gulf Coast, water that does not move kills the property.
Scapes designs drainage as a system: French drains, channel drains, atrium grates, pop-ups, regrade, dry creeks, and outfall. Every rain is moved, intentionally, off the property and onto the street.
We trench, sleeve, gravel-bed, and backfill to the standard you would not see — because once it is finished, you should not see it.
