The Drawing Board

Before the stone,
there is a drawing.

Every Scapes landscape starts the same way — by hand, on paper, in marker and ink. Not a render off a shelf. A drawing made for your ground. Real concepts, from the table where the work begins.

From concept to ground — the working sketches

The First Drawing

Before the company, there was a doodle.

This is the page where the mark got made — worked out in the margin of a real job list, between grading, drainage, lights, and hollies.

Dozens of plan-view trees, tested one against three. The name tried three ways. A verdict in the corner: keep it simple. And down at the bottom, boxed and underlined, the whole design system in four words — tree symbol + name = done.

Everything else here started on a page like this one.
