Flagstone drives, limestone walks, slate patios, brick — they all gather a film. A bloom of algae in the shade, mineral deposits in the sun, tire skid at the gate. Within two years of install, every paved surface on a Texas Gulf Coast property looks five years older than it is.
Pressure washing fixes this in an afternoon. The trick is doing it without striping the stone, etching the joint, or driving water into the wrong place. We use a surface cleaner for flat work, a low-angle tip for vertical, and a soap pre-soak for organic growth — never bleach into the planting.
A wash is timed before high-attention events (events, photoshoots, Easter, Thanksgiving) and on a routine schedule for the rest of the year.
